The rough in electric and plumbing are done. We had our City inspection of the work, and we are moving right along now.
The next step was to install wall insulation, ceiling sound insulation, and acoustic resilient channel. These, and the drywall to come, are the elements that will address any sound intrusion that would occur between the housing units.
Insulation goes quickly. I paid 4 day laborers for 6 hours ($325 total) and all of the insulation cost $1,500 or so. So, for $1,800, I was able to insulate the whole 800 sq ft ADU.
